Israel-Palestine Conflict Resources: Home

In the wake of the tragic violence in Israel and Gaza, the Center for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, in collaboration with the Katharine Brush Library, the Kravis Center, and the History, Philosophy and Religious Studies Department, have curated this list of baseline resources that we hope will serve our community (Students, Families, Faculty and Staff) in better understanding the issues related to the history and present situation in Israel and Palestine. In her letter to our community, Dr. Sheila Culbert reminded us that there is a great deal of misinformation circulating even within reputable news sources; thus by creating this LibGuide, we hope to continue to offer support by providing an educational forum to better understand the situation. This resource is intended to facilitate learning, while understanding that the process of learning is complicated, may require additional personal work, and will necessitate empathy and care. Thus, these individual sources are not an endorsement from the Center for DEI, Katharine Brush Library, Kravis Center, or from History, Philosophy, and Religion Department, but are more a collection of a myriad of voices and sources in the hopes of providing balance by including multiple perspectives.
